This week was stellar!
First things first! We had a miracle the week before last. Just went
and knocked at this specific house in this specific area and met a guy
named Josh and his family. We were able to get a return appointment.
They weren't home when we went. Soooo we stopped by the same time the
next week and We found him home! He was a lot more interested than we
had previously expected. Yeah! So we have another appointment with him
on Tuesday. Pray that all works out! He has the cutest little girl
Breanna.

Tuesday we had an unexpected meeting in Broomall ( right by Philly)
called Golden Retraining. It's kind of like a big meeting to help out
the goldens and trainers to get repumped for missionary work. It was
so amazing, I love meetings!

We had exchanges with the sister trainers right after we got home from
Broomall. Fun fact: almost 40% of my mission is sisters. Awesome, I
know. It was fun. I spent the day in Souderton with Sister Sagers from
Keysville, UT. She reminds me of Hayden Panatierre. I learned a lot! I
have a huge list of things to improve and be more obedient from the
exchange and golden retraining.

Not sure how much of a surprise this is to some but I started a new
diet and have cut out sweets completely. It's awesome. Yay for self
control! Also, I have an awesome parallel thing going on between
health/nutrition and the gospel. It's pretty legit.
We have been seeing this lady and her daughter every Wednesday for the
passed transfer. The mom Betty (60s) isn't a member but the daughter
Debby (45) is. Betty has been sitting in but she hasn't really been
getting much out of it. This lesson she started to ask questions about
the temple and the pre existence. We should have a pretty great lesson
this Wednesday.
Wednesday night was the annual Milford Branch trunk or treat :) this
little branch is the better than any ward I've ever seen at hosting
events. The building we have is tiny! We only have 1 hallway and the
chapel ( which we have to set up the chairs for). Everyone was
squeezed in that room. We had the entire cast from The Wizard of Oz.
Some members got our investigators Jeff and Keith these hats. It was
hilarious. There was a hay ride which was so awesome because it was
foggy and everyone wa telling ghost stories. We also decorated our
trunk with some silky sheets we found in our apt. And gave out the
candy that has stocked up from all the members. "You have to take a
pass along card before you take some candy!" Haha it worked out really
For actual Halloween we had to go in when it got dark. We finished our
weekly planning and had a major feast! I made biscuits, Sister
Bischoff made some Amish soup and Sister Roesch made this rice stuff
her mom sent her. Then We dressed up as each other for our Halloween
costumes.

We made our goals for member presents this week! I think my companion
has narcolepsy.
has narcolepsy.
It was a great week! Thank you for all the prayers!
On a spiritual note: like a kid from testimony said this Sunday " our
testimony is like a clubhouse. Once we finish the basic foundation we
can start adding really cool stuff" amen kid!
