Merry Christmas!

December 29, 2014

Merry Christmas!!!!
What a great week it's been. There is nothing like Christmas on the mission. Spreading the good news of Jesus Christ's birth full time as a missionary is like nothing else. What a great way to give back to him by spreading such an amazing gift. I am so grateful to our Heavenly Father for loving us enough to provide us with our Savior Jesus Christ. I would be lost and very unhappy without him. What a great time of year. He is the Gift was such a great tool to spread the message of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Christmas Eve we taught a lot of non members! Our downstairs neighbor Jackie, a referral from caroling last week who happens to know someone in the ward (she said she wants to come to church!), we went to Bishop's house for dinner and had amazing Fillipino food. We also caroled to a less active who referred us to his next door neighbors. Right when they opened the door we started singing Joy to the World, just my companion and I. they hurried and rushed for their two little boys to get to the door. we ended up singing 3 verses! They let us in and loved the He is the Gift video. it was so cool. We hopefully will start teaching them this week.

On Christmas a lot of members invited us over to eat. The Shahans were in the morning with all of their crazy fun kids running around. We had a HUGE breakfast feast. Then hurried to the LA family the Keatts. They love to hunt! camouflage couches, antlers on the wall, and they even invited us back the next time they catch a raccoon because apparently it is really tasty. then they let me hold their Python. Sorry for the picture mom ;)
SKYPED THE ZELLER/NEUBARTH clan! Best family ever.
We went to the Frangia's for dinner and Brother Frangia invited his brother over who isn't a member. We showed he is the gift and the spirit was so strong. I don't even remember what I said but it doesn't matter when the spirit is there. We caroled some more to this little old lady named sister gaines. so cute.

We had a great district meeting on focused on Jesus Christ and it really helped remind me that no one cometh unto the Father except by him (Christ).
We had another big leadership meeting on Saturday which is always really fun. Then volleyball at the church at night. That's always a highlight of the week.

I am so grateful for my family and this gospel. What precious time it has been for me to serve for 14 months.

Love you all,
Sister Zeller
